Jason Beschta

Coach Beschta serves as Instructor of Exercise and Sport Science and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. He earned his B.S. from Bryan College (2001) and his M.S. from Baylor University (2004). He joins Cedarville this year after serving as Instructor of Health and Human Performance and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead for four years. He has served on several overseas mission trips with SCORE International and Athletes in Action to such countries as the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Hungary, and Taiwan. Coach Beschta enjoys doing anything active and outside such as hiking, biking, running, fishing, and swimming. 

 

Cynthia Gayer

 Mrs. Gayer serves as part-time administrative assistant to the Department of Exercise and Sport Science. She earned a B.S. from Miami University and an M.A> from Case Western Reserve University. Cindy lives in Cedarville with her husband Peter and their youngest two boys of five children. She enjoys playing tennis, reading, and scrapbooking and is involved in various ministries in their local church.

 

Lori Huckaby

Miss Huckaby earned her B.A. from Baptist Bible College (1987) and her M.Ed. from Lynchburg College (2001). She spent 13 years teaching and coaching in the Christian School realm before coming to Cedarville in 2005. She is the full time Women's Basketball Assistant and teaches Sport Management courses in the Exercise and Sport Science Department. She serves as a Co-Advisor to the Sport Management Organization. Lori has been on 5 Missions trips, including South Africa, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. She is involved in her church and loves outdoor activities. She resides here in Cedarville.

 

Elisabeth Martin

Ms. Martin serves as an associate athletic trainer for the department of exercise and sport science. She earned her B.A. in athletic training from Cedarville College in 1996 and her M.Ed. from Cedarville University in 2007. Ms. Martin is a Certified Athletic Trainer with the NATA and is licensed to practice athletic training in the state of Ohio. She has been employed by Cedarville since 2001. Ms. Martin is active in the music ministry in her church and resides in Xenia.
